Privacy Policy

AssembleNow is responsible for personal information under its control. Privacy questions, access requests and complaints may be submitted through the project request form for review by the Privacy Officer.

• Names, contact details, service addresses and preferred communication methods.
• Product links, manufacturers, models, SKUs, receipts and purchase information supplied by the client.
• Project descriptions, quantities, schedules, photographs, videos, measurements, drawings and documents.
• Business contacts, site-access information, procurement records and project communications.
• Field-team interest information, including preferred work area, location, relevant experience, credentials stated by the person and availability. The preliminary interest form does not request a résumé or identity document.
• Partner and supplier inquiry information, including organization, representative, business website, markets served and the proposed commercial relationship.
• For Corporate, Enterprise and Industrial access: legal organization and trading names, jurisdiction, government-issued registration type and number, business email and website, and the named representative’s authority and title.
• Basic technical and security records generated when the website or future digital services are used.

The website and application allow a person to submit this information directly. Sensitive organization evidence is restricted to the owner review process; the full registration number is removed from the active review record after a decision, while a one-way fingerprint and last four characters may be retained for audit and duplicate detection.

Information may be used to answer inquiries, identify products, assess project requirements, evaluate possible field-team matches, review proposed supplier or commercial relationships, verify an organization and its authorized representative, control named-person access, prepare estimates or proposals, schedule and deliver work, communicate with approved participants, maintain records, protect people and property, meet legal obligations and improve AssembleNow services.

Talent and partner records are available only through the private owner review workspace. Submitting preliminary interest does not create employment, contractor, partnership, endorsement or purchasing rights.

Client registration is free and requires review before a private website workspace opens. The application asks for your legal name, confirmed account email, phone, service address, billing address if different, relevant business contact information and project or service relationship. Contact details other than the confirmed account email are supplied by the applicant and may require follow-up verification.

We keep application decisions and website access records, including successful sign-in, explicit logout, last server contact, last activity time, session expiry and access revocation. These records support client access administration and account security and are restricted to authorized owner administration. A recently seen session does not establish who is physically using a device. Session records do not contain passwords, typed text or location history.

Private website sessions use secure, HTTP-only authentication cookies. Sessions expire after 30 minutes without reported interaction or eight hours from sign-in. Removing website membership ends its website sessions and can require a fresh application; it does not by itself delete the separate app account. Client and access records are reviewed for retention according to the purposes described below.

AssembleNow seeks meaningful consent appropriate to the information and purpose. Consent may be withdrawn, subject to legal, contractual and operational limits. Promotional messages and operational project communications are treated separately.

Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with approved employees, subcontractors, technology providers, insurers, professional advisers, payment providers or project participants. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by law.

Service providers are expected to protect information and use it only for the authorized purpose. AssembleNow does not sell personal information.

AssembleNow automatically uses private, first-party, cookieless analytics to understand which pages and sections are useful, how visitors move through the website, which calls to action are selected and whether the project-request process is completed.

The analytics record can include page paths, entry and exit pages, referring website, campaign tags, selected language and region, broad device and browser type, screen-size category, page views, approximate engagement time, section views, scroll depth, anonymous aggregate click positions, page-load performance and general error categories. It never includes names, email addresses, phone numbers, form text, keystrokes, project reference numbers, access codes, filenames, uploaded files or session-replay recordings.

Our hosting provider may supply an approximate continent, country, province or state, region, city, postal area, metro code, time zone, latitude and longitude based on the network connection. These details can be nearby, incomplete or incorrect. They describe an estimated network area—not a device’s GPS position or a verified home, business or street address.

We do not store the raw IP address or request a device’s precise location for website analytics. We use the approximate network area to understand where demand is coming from, plan service coverage and decide where AssembleNow should advertise.

We do not use analytics cookies, local storage, session storage, advertising pixels, session-replay recording or cross-site tracking profiles. A temporary random session code exists only in memory while a page is open and resets when the page is reloaded or closed. Signed-in owner activity is excluded when the owner can be identified. Raw analytics records are kept for up to 90 days and are available only in the owner’s private dashboard.

If Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is enabled, the website does not collect analytics from that browser.

The weather widget automatically estimates your area from your network connection. When our hosting service cannot supply the area, we send the connection’s IP address to GeoJS for an approximate location lookup. This can be inaccurate, particularly with a VPN or mobile network. You can choose a city instead.

GeoJS processes the lookup under its privacy policy. AssembleNow temporarily caches a hashed lookup key and approximate result in memory, reusing a result for up to one hour; the weather feature does not save raw IP addresses in our business database. Rounded location coordinates are sent to MET Norway to obtain a forecast. These providers may process requests outside Canada.

Your selected city or location mode is remembered in this browser’s local storage. Precise device location is requested only when you select “Use my location” and your browser allows it. GPS coordinates are rounded before requesting a forecast and are not saved as a browser preference. Weather location is not used to identify you or added to your customer profile.

Project photographs may contain personal or location information. Clients should avoid including people, private documents or unrelated property whenever possible.

Before any AI-assisted product recognition, measurement or project-analysis feature is released, AssembleNow will provide additional notice explaining what is analyzed, why it is used, where it is processed and what choices are available. AI output will support—not replace—appropriate human review for consequential project decisions.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purpose, legal requirements, safety, warranty, accounting or dispute resolution. Appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards are applied according to the sensitivity of the information.

Preliminary field-team interest records receive a retention-review date 180 days after submission. A record may be removed earlier on a verified request, or moved into a separate documented hiring process when a genuine role exists. Partner inquiries are retained while the proposal is being evaluated and as needed to document any resulting commercial relationship or decision.

A person may request access to or correction of their personal information and may ask about deletion where retention is no longer required. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. Some information may be retained where required by law or necessary for a legitimate business purpose.

Suspected privacy incidents are assessed, contained and documented. AssembleNow will notify affected individuals and regulators when required by applicable law.

AssembleNow services are directed to adults and authorized organizational representatives. Personal information from a child should not be submitted without the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

This policy may be updated as the website, application and services develop. Material changes will be identified through the effective date and, where appropriate, an additional notice.
